Jointly organized by IDA Singapore and Informa Telecoms & Media (ITM), the CloudAsia 2013 brought together international and regional enterprises and industry to address the realities and deployment of cloud technology. This year, the emphasis was on practical examples from cloud users themselves. Whether in early or advanced stages of adoption and deployment, the conference, workshops and exhibits provided the latest updates and information for existing and potential cloud adopters.
CloudAsia 2013 showcased the technology, solutions and know-how to help enterprises, SMBs and SMEs to ensure success in their cloud programme.
To enable this, in a departure from previous years, the event offered FREE attendance for qualifying enterprises and operators. Attendees could participate in a series of workshops held concurrently with the event, as well as the main Practice & Industry conference track and the co-located CSA APAC Congress.

An additional 2nd track at CloudAsia entitled ‘Research & Innovation’ provided an additional option, for a nominal fee.
From December to May, invitations and marketing to increase awareness and secure attendance resulted in a steady stream of requests to attend. These were tightly monitored and followed up to qualify the audience of current and future implementers of cloud technology and services.
The inaugural CLOUD SECURITY ALLIANCE (CSA) ASIA PACIFIC CONGRESS was held alongside CloudAsia, with a 2 day conference aimed at building trust through transparency in cloud security. |
